In 1980, Al-Aqaria began its operations as a real estate company with divisions in Property Management and Maintenance, Project Management, and Cleaning and Security. In May 2006, Al-Aqaria shifted to a Holding Company structure, spinning off its existing divisions into a Project Management Company (Real Estate), a Maintenance Services Company, and a Construction Company. As of now, Al-Aquaria is establishing an Investment Company, an Energy Company (building a refinery), a Transportation Company, an Education Company, and a Healthcare Company.
